           The purpose of the requested grant is to facilitate a Public Private Partnership (P3) between the Louisiana National Guard Foundation, a private developer and the State for construction of military and first-responder housing at Jackson Barracks, the Baton Rouge Armed Forces Readiness Center and at the Gillis W. Long Center in Carville, La. the grant will assist in fulfilling the Foundation's obligation to provide an improved construction site for the developer whcih includes streets, drainage and utilities.
This request is on behalf of the Foundation; a Non-Governmental Organization whose mission is to support the Soldiers and Airmen of the Louisiana National Guard. This request is not related to any appropriation to the Louisiana Military Department and is not made on behalf of the Department.
