          The Level Up Leadership Program provides teens mentorship and job training within a safe, supportive space while developing the hard skills and soft skills necessary for career readiness. Skills include strategic planning, forecasting, and operations, with real-world examples like classroom management, lesson planning, and managing a classroom budget.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          During the year-long program cycle, we anticipate serving 28 Upturn Arts teens through monthly leadership and job readiness training sessions. Teens will participate in specialized workshops covering career pathways. Upon successful completion, 100% of participants will be eligible for paid employment as Teaching Assistants during our 12-week summer program, while supporting classroom instruction for approximately 650 younger children. As a result, teens will gain practical job experience through paid Teaching Assistant roles, strengthening their understanding of workplace expectations, schedules, accountability, and collaboration.The long-term impact of this program is a stronger, more prepared pipeline of youth equipped with transferable workforce skills and exposure to viable career pathways.
