Art. 4614. Purchase by co-owner of property or interest sold
A. Any property or interest in the property sold to effect a partition, whether by
licitation or by private sale, may be purchased by a co-owner.
B. If a property or interest in the property is purchased by a co-owner, the co-owner
shall be credited for his share of the property or interest in the property. The co-owner shall
have his share deducted from the purchase price of the property or interest in the property
prior to payment.
