PART II. LOUISIANA AUTOMOBILE THEFT AND

INSURANCE FRAUD PREVENTION AUTHORITY

§2131. Definitions

            As used in this Part:

            (1) "Account" means the Automobile Theft and Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority Dedicated Fund Account administered by the board of directors as a dedicated fund account in the state treasury.

            (2) "Authority" means the Louisiana Automobile Theft and Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority.

            (3) "Board" means the board of directors of the Louisiana Automobile Theft and Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority.

            (4) "Motor vehicle" means every automobile or other motor vehicle which is self-propelled, other than trains and those propelled by electric power from overhead wires.
