§85. Letting premises for prostitution
A. Letting premises for prostitution is the granting of the right of use or the leasing
of any premises, knowing that they are to be used for the practice of prostitution, or allowing
the continued use of the premises with such knowledge.
B.(1) Whoever commits the crime of letting premises for prostitution shall be fined
not more than five hundred dollars, imprisoned for not more than six months, or both.
(2) Whoever commits the crime of letting premises for prostitution of persons under
the age of eighteen years shall be fined not more than fifty thousand dollars, imprisoned at
hard labor for not less than fifteen years nor more than fifty years, or both.
(3) Whoever commits the crime of letting premises for prostitution of persons under
the age of fourteen years shall be fined not more than seventy-five thousand dollars,
imprisoned at hard labor for not less than twenty-five years nor more than fifty years, or both.
