§2358.4. Licensing; fees; renewal
A. No person shall breed, hatch, propagate, raise, grow, receive, ship, transport,
export, or sell turtles or turtle eggs without possessing a turtle farmer license.
B. Turtle farmer licenses shall expire annually on the thirty-first day of December,
and must be renewed no later than the last day of January of the following year.
C. The commissioner shall adopt, by rule in accordance with the Administrative
Procedure Act, the fee to be charged for the issuance of a turtle farmer license. The amount
of the fee shall not exceed two hundred fifty dollars per license issued annually.
D. Each person applying for a turtle farmer license shall complete a written
application as provided by the commissioner, pay the required license fee, and comply with
any other requirements for licensure required by the rules and regulations adopted pursuant
to this Part.
