§1870. Jurisdiction

            A. Except as otherwise provided in Subsection B of this Section, the Nineteenth Judicial District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any civil or criminal proceeding instituted pursuant to this Chapter.

            B. The fund and a member of the fund may contractually agree, through a policy of insurance or otherwise, to resolve a claim dispute through mediation pursuant to the Louisiana Mediation Act, R.S. 9:4101 et seq., or appraisal pursuant to R.S. 22:1807.11 et seq.
