In order to host the 2020 NCAA Women's Final Four National Championship, it is required of the Local Organizing Committee to establish a legal non-profit corporate entity. The to be established entity, "New Orleans Women's Final Four Local Organizing Committee, Inc." (Host Committee) is responsible for assuming and fulfilling the obligations agreed to by the bid committee and contained in the Local Organizing Committee Agreement between the NCAA and the Host Committee.
Therefore this organization is responsible to execute all agreed upon responsibilities in hosting the 2020 Women's Final Four for the NCAA including the financial and operational obligations of the agreement.

What is the entity's public purpose, sought to be achieved through the use of state monies?
By hosting the 2020 NCAA Women's Final Four the State of Louisiana and the City of New Orleans, based on independent report, will have a minimum $43 million (from 2013 study) economic impact generate $ 2.1 million in tax revenue. The ESPN nationally televised event has over 500 members of the media covering. The event will bring thousands of visitors to our state for this multi day Championship including the National Women's Basketball Coaches convention. This event will continue to promote the State of Louisiana as the leader in hosting Nationally prominent sporting events and as a destination city for travel and tourism.
What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
To reinforce Louisiana's and New Orleans' stature as one of America's greatest states/cities and as a premier sporting event venue through the national media coverage and the live broadcast of the event.
To create and generate jobs and revenue in Louisiana in one of major industries, travel and tourism.
To generate tax revenue for state and local government that otherwise would go to another State.
