           Freshly Harvested Game Program- Feral Hogs. Hunters For The Hungry partners with processors throughout the state. Hunters can drop off their game at no cost. H4H pays the processing fees. All meat is ground and donated to the nearest food bank for distribution to their agencies.

          We provide freshly ground meat to thousands of needy and homeless people throughout Louisiana. Feral hogs are an extreme nuisance to our farmers and landowners. This money will allow H4H to utilize the abundance of protein that is currently being wasted, for good use of feeding the hungry.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          Our goal for this year is to recruit additional processors to participate in our program and encourage outdoorsman to donate their harvest of hogs to us. We anticipate that within the first year of the program, we will be able to collect approximately 10,000 hogs, if not many more.

               This contract will provide funding to be spent on processing fees for game and fish that will be in turn, be donated to the 5 major food banks in Louisiana.
