To get on a level playing field with seafood being imported into our country. Our commercial seafood harvesters are suffering with low prices that they cannot compete with due to cheap imports. Making the public aware of the great value to our fresh products by promoting local catch and letting them know the negative health and safety issues that imported seafood products have.
