          Our purpose is to provide youth soccer for the City of Covington residents without an out of district fee while also providing a positive soccer experience for all the residents of St. Tammany and the surrounding areas. The city of Covington does not have a soccer program. Players have to pay at an out of district park and pay addition fees.
Our current lights are old and need to be replaced to provide a safe playing environment for our players. The new LED light bulbs are Eco friendly and will help cut down on our electricity cost.
Improving drainage for the playing surfaces will significantly cut down on cancellations and re-schedules.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          Our goal is to provide a safe and developmental soccer program for the youth in our area.
Covington Youth Soccer Association was chartered by the State of Louisiana in 1982 as a non-profit organization to teach, promote, and govern the game of soccer for the benefit of the players, parents, and community of Covington and the surrounding area. CYSA is a club and is not associated or funded by any governmental organization. CYSA is not part of the Covington Recreational Department (CRD). The membership of CYSA is composed of the parents and guardians of any child who pays fees and plays on a CYSA team. CYSA is governed by an elected Board of Directors. All board members are volunteers and receive no compensation. CYSA has no employees and is supported and maintained entirely by volunteers.
