           The Crossties Program is a subsidiary of Freedom Ministries of Christ Church, and wishes to adopt an aftercare program to help recovering addicts transition back into the community as whole, productive members of society. This Crossties Aftercare Program or C.A.P., would be a 6-month faith-driven, recovery program that will provide housing and help with gainful employment and transportation for said individuals. There are currently 2 functioning chapters of "Crossties", (Oakdale, LA | Deridder, LA), with a 3rd currently being established (Leesville, LA). Freedom Ministries is currently seeking funding in the amount of $100,000 for the purpose of building construction and general associated costs.

          The public purpose of the Crossties Aftercare Program is to increase soundness and safety in our communities, by providing a safe place of healing and rehabilitation for such individuals that are marked/repeat offenders, and/or needy persons that are fighting all manner of substance abuse issues. This program would re-introduce these individuals back into society, as whole, productive members of society they once were and are meant to be.

          For the Crossties Aftercare Program to achieve it's goals, mandatory activities have been outlined for residents, including:

Rules and regulations include:
No profanity
No gossiping
No obscene gestures
No discussion of previous crimes, drug activity, or criminal intentions

Be respectful at all times
Pick up and clean up after yourself
No drugs or alcohol/random drug screens
Visitation on Sundays 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
