           The Bright School is an Early Intervention program for children who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or language delayed. We are Early Steps providers and Special Instructors serving the birth to five population. We continue to conduct home visits as well as providing age appropriate services to children who are enrolled at our center based program. Our program prides itself if providing unlimited unbiased information to parents and families.

What is the entity's public purpose, sought to be achieved through the use of state monies?
          The Bright School for the Deaf will continue to support the community by offering appropriate services and intend to increase our enrollment by including a Kindergarten class for the 23/24 school year.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          Through our Parent Resource Center we will expand our available services. It is the utmost importance to educate families about hearing loss and how it ultimately will affect a child’s educational pathway. Currently, we have monthly parent meetings, sign language classes, meetings conducted by a professional addressing behavior, IFSP, IEP, and advocacy.
The Bright School will with additional funds be able to add the services of a Deaf Mentor and a sign language interpreter to assist families.

           We propose this project will continue to expand over the next two years.
