           This project will be for our afterschool program. Our plan is to offer tutoring for students in an effort to improve LEAP scores by students, as well as improve overall rankings of Morehouse parish district. We currently fall into the bottom tier of parishes in every category. We want to help them improve study habits that will help them succeed and experience the feeling of accomplishment, and become more confident in their ability to learn and perform at a high level in the classroom.

          To prepare our youth for meeting the many challenges that they will encounter, while also empowering and motivating them to make good decisions and become responsible adults who will contribute positively towards the growth and development of our communities as a whole.

          To provide programs for our youth that will address various community problems and concerns. Provide them with the knowledge and tools that they need to combat and rise above the fray. To involve them in exercises to build awareness of community issues and build problem solving skills that will help them to become contributing members of the community.
