           The department is proposing the purchase of
pre-fabricated fire training structures which the manufacturer delivers and installs as part of the purchase price. The only
construction required on site would be for concrete pads and utilities. The pre-fabricated structures will accommodate confined
space maze training, 3-stack live fire and confined space USAR training, pitched roof ventilation prop, void space (behind the wall)
prop, standpipe connection and sprinkler system, forced entry door prop, steel panel cutting prop, rebar cutting prop, maze system,
active rooftop with interior stairway and hatch, rappelling tower with caged ladder, lpg burning system, flashover system.

Establishing a PIAL approved training facility at St. Tammany Fire District # 6 would greatly benefit not only our department but
other fire districts in the northern part of St. Tammany Parish and parts of Washington Parish by having the ability to conduct
facility training without comprising department manning and response times by sending fire fighters to fire training facilities outside
of the fire district area.
