           The Louisiana Art & Science Museum serves approximately 22,000 K - 12 students each year from parishes/city school systems throughout the state, and welcomes over 60,000 total visitors each year. Funds will partially support salaries of the education, planetarium, tour guides, and marketing teams as we try to increase group/individual participation in educational experiences and grow visitation. Free admission is provided to active-duty military, veterans, and emergency responders and their families, and funds will partially offset those expenses. The Museum recently started offering Sensory Sensitive Second Sundays to accommodate individuals on the autism spectrum. Funds will help to support those efforts and expenditures. Additionally, funds will support utility costs of running the Museum.

          We seek to enhance the understanding and appreciation of art and science for general audiences and students by presenting unique, educational, and entertaining experiences that encourage discovery, inspire creativity, and foster the pursuit of knowledge. We envision a community of lifelong explorers inspired by art and science.

          1. Increase in the percentage of total attendance to the Museum
2. Increase the number of free admissions provided through the Blue Star Museum Program for veterans, military retirees, first responders, and their families
