What is the entity's public purpose, sought to be achieved through the use of state monies?
Knock Knock Children’s Museum's stated mission is to be a community spark for engaging, playful learning experiences that inspire and support lifelong learning. The museum's Early Childhood Literacy program aligns with and supports its mission in increasing early literacy skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) while increasing knowledge and raising interest in STEAM subjects and careers.
What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
Our goal is to attract 105,000 visitors by June 30, 2026 and provide those visitors with impactful, engaging, and innovative educational experiences and activities, in a language-rich and stimulating learning environment that supports early literacy and exposure to STEAM disciplines and career pathways. To support this goal, we will hire new employees and recruit new volunteers. We will maintain a clean, attractive, and safe facility, and broadly promote the museum's literacy programs to the public.
What is the proposed length of time estimated by the entity to accomplish the purpose?
