Provide a summary of the project or program:
St. Alphonsus School respectfully requests $50,000 in state funding to support two critical areas of growth: technology upgrades for instruction and start-up needs for our GRACE Program. As a PK–8 Catholic school committed to forming the whole child—spiritually, academically, physically, and culturally—we are continually working to provide an environment where all students can learn, grow, and succeed.
Technology Enhancements:
A portion of these funds will be used to strengthen instructional technology across our campus. This includes updating teacher computers, many of which are outdated and limit efficiency in lesson planning, data analysis, and daily instruction. In addition, we plan to create a multi-media classroom for our middle school students. This space will allow students to engage in hands-on, project-based learning through video production, digital storytelling, and other creative applications. The addition of a multi-media class will expand opportunities for collaboration, creativity, and real-world skill development, preparing our students for the demands of high school and beyond.
GRACE Program Start-Up Needs:
As we launch our GRACE Program to better serve students with diverse learning needs, we are seeking funding to ensure the program begins with a strong foundation. These funds will be used to purchase appropriate classroom furniture and instructional materials designed to support differentiated learning. Flexible seating, sensory-friendly furnishings, and targeted instructional supplies will allow us to create a structured, supportive environment where students can thrive academically and emotionally.
This investment will have a lasting impact on our school community by strengthening instruction for all students while also ensuring that our GRACE Program is equipped to meet the individual needs of every learner.
