           Majik Courts Youth Sports Foundation is seeking funding to develop a permanent youth sports and recreation facility in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. The proposed project will include an indoor basketball and volleyball gymnasium along with outdoor sand volleyball courts as part of the initial development. The facility will provide a dedicated location for youth sports training, leagues, camps, clinics, mentorship, and community-centered recreational programming. The project is intended to increase access to affordable, high-quality sports opportunities for children and families in Assumption Parish and surrounding communities. The indoor facility will support year-round basketball and volleyball programming and will include necessary supporting spaces for participants, staff, spectators, equipment, and facility operations. The outdoor sand courts will expand volleyball and recreational opportunities and allow Majik Courts Youth Sports Foundation to serve more youth through structured programming. The facility will support the Foundation’s mission of expanding access to youth sports through affordable programming, equipment, mentorship, scholarships, and community resources.

          The public purpose of these funds is to expand access to safe, affordable, and structured youth sports and recreation opportunities in Assumption Parish and surrounding communities. Funding will support the development of a permanent youth sports facility where children can participate in basketball, volleyball, sports training, leagues, camps, clinics, mentorship, and other community-centered programs. The facility will provide additional recreational opportunities for youth and families and help reduce barriers to participation by creating a dedicated location for year-round programming.
