Provide a summary of the project or program:
           Children's Advocacy Network submitted a request for campus-wide improvements. The goal was to purchase the building located at 901 16th Street, Alexandria, LA and renovate the space to be used for administrative offices, CASA employees, training community volunteers, group therapy, a safe place for DCFS to be able to meet for sibling visits or family visits, etc as well as to improve adjacent buildings used for the agency's trauma therapy program and CAC.
Much work has already been done with the $1,000,000 received from the state as well as funds raised by CAN. The building was purchased and approximately 60% has been renovated through our phase 1 project. In addition, we have purchased and renovated the therapy building and will be completing the renovation of the CAC building in the first quarter of 2027. The additional funds being requested will be used to complete phase 2 of the project including renovation of the remainder of the space, fencing for safety reason, lighting and signage.

          The purpose of the Children's Advocacy Network is to heal and champion abused and neglected children in 8 parishes of Central Louisiana. By improving the property at our primary campus, children will be able to receive additional services in a safe environment.

          -Create a safe place for foster children to meet with their DCFS caseworker for supervised visits.
-Create one campus where all employees will work to offer multiple services for children in a single location/campus.
-Create space for additional, expanded therapy services including group therapy to be able to serve more children.
