CONSIDERATION OF ANY OTHER MATTERS THAT MAY COME BEFORE THE COMMITTEE
 1. To receive an update from the Treasurer’s Office, including but not limited to the certain fiscal information that public school governing authorities must post on their websites (Act 370 of the 2023 Regular Session, formerly HB 462).
 2. To receive an update from the Board of Regents, including but not limited to the implementation of laws pertaining to higher education, passed during the 2024 Regular Session (Act 311, formerly SB 205).
 3. To receive an update from the Louisiana Community and Technical College System on progress related to Murphy J. Foster Promise Award Program (Act 102 of the 2024 Regular Session, formerly SB 272).

Persons who do not feel comfortable giving testimony in person may submit a prepared statement in accordance with Senate Rule 13.79, in lieu of appearing before the committee. Statements may be emailed to seduc@legis.la.gov and must be received by the committee secretary at least four hours prior to the meeting to be included in the record for this committee meeting.
