§1948.5. Louisiana Byways designations

            The following highways and sections of highways are hereby designated as Louisiana Byways:

            (1) LA 1 from Labadieville in Assumption Parish north to the north end of Pointe Coupee Parish.

            (2) Repealed by Acts 2016, No. 146, §2.

            (3) LA 21 from US 190 in St. Tammany Parish north to LA 10 in Washington Parish.

            (4) LA 22 from US 190 in St. Tammany Parish west to LA 44 in Ascension Parish.

            (5) LA 30 from I-10 in East Baton Rouge Parish southeast to LA 44 in Ascension Parish.

            (6) LA 43 from LA 22 in Livingston Parish north to LA 10 in St. Helena Parish.

            (14) US 51 from LA 38 in Tangipahoa Parish south to LA 10 in Tangipahoa Parish.

            (16) US 61 at the Mississippi state line in West Feliciana Parish south to US 190 in East Baton Rouge Parish.

            (46) Louisiana Highway 93 from Grand Coteau in St. Landry Parish west to Sunset in St. Landry Parish; from Sunset south through Scott in Lafayette Parish to the Acadian Village at the intersection of Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette Parish.

            (47) Creole Nature Trail All-American road route: Louisiana Highway 27 beginning at Sulphur in Calcasieu Parish, south to Hollybeach in Cameron Parish at the junction with Louisiana Highway 82; Louisiana Highway 82 west to the Texas state line, and east on Louisiana Highway 27/82 to Creole, south on Louisiana Highway 82 to Oak Grove; or alternate route thence east to the intersection of Louisiana Highway 27/82 with Trosclair Road, a parish road #357, in Cameron Parish, thence east on Trosclair Road to its intersection with Louisiana Highway 82 at Oak Grove; east on Louisiana Highway 82 to the Vermilion Parish line; Louisiana Highway 385 south beginning at the intersection of McNeese Street in Calcasieu Parish to Louisiana Highway 384 at Boone's Corner proceeding east to Louisiana Highway 27 and proceeding south on Louisiana Highway 27 to Creole, or alternate route on Louisiana Highway 14 in Lake Charles south to intersection of Louisiana Highway 27 at Holmwood proceeding south to Creole; or, alternate spur route, extending east from Holmwood on Louisiana Highway 14, through the communities of Bell City and Hayes, to Illinois Plant Road, and proceeding south on Illinois Plant Road to its termination on Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge.

            (49) Bayou Byways: Beginning on LA 1090 at the I-59 Pearl River exit south on LA 1090 for 6.7 miles then east on LA 190 for 3.7 miles and west on LA 90 for 1.8 miles then west on LA 433 for 9.4 miles back to I-10.

            (50) Louisiana's Bayou Teche Scenic Byways:

            (a) LA 182 from its intersection with 6th Street in Morgan City northwest to its intersection with US 90, including its routing through Morgan City, Berwick, Bayou Vista, and Patterson in St. Mary Parish.

            (b) US 90 from its intersection with LA 182 west to its intersection with LA 182 in St. Mary Parish.

            (c) LA 182 from its intersection with US 90 west to its intersection with LA 31, including its routing through Franklin, Baldwin, Jeanerette, and New Iberia in St. Mary and Iberia parishes.

            (d) LA 3156 in New Iberia in Iberia Parish.

            (e) LA 31 from its intersection with LA 182 north to LA 347, including its routing through New Iberia, St. Martinville, Parks, Breaux Bridge, Cecilia, and Arnaudville in Iberia, St. Martin, and St. Landry parishes.

            (f) LA 347 from its intersection with LA 31 in Arnaudville southeast to its intersection with LA 328 in Breaux Bridge, including its routing through Cecilia in St. Martin and St. Landry parishes.

            (g) LA 328 from its intersection with LA 347 in Cecilia south to its intersection with LA 347 in Breaux Bridge in St. Martin Parish.

            (h) LA 355 from its intersection with LA 31 east to its intersection with LA 347 in Cecilia in St. Martin Parish.

            (i) LA 336-1 from its intersection with LA 31 east to its intersection with LA 328 in Breaux Bridge in St. Martin Parish.

            (j) LA 352 from its intersection with LA 347 east and south to its intersection with LA 96, including its routing through Henderson in St. Martin Parish.

            (k) LA 96 from its intersection with LA 352 south and west to its intersection with LA 31 in St. Martinville in St. Martin Parish.

            (l) LA 86 from its intersection with LA 31 east and south to its intersection with LA 182 in New Iberia, including its routing through Loreauville in St. Mary and Iberia parishes.

            (m) LA 87 from its intersection with LA 86 in New Iberia east and south to its intersection with LA 324 in St. Mary and Iberia parishes.

            (n) LA 324 from its intersection with LA 87 west to its intersection with LA 326 in St. Mary Parish.

            (o) LA 326 from its intersection with LA 324 south to its intersection with LA 182 in Baldwin in St. Mary Parish.

            (p) LA 670 from its intersection with LA 87 south to its intersection with LA 182 in St. Mary Parish.

            (q) LA 671 from its intersection with LA 87 south to its intersection with LA 182 in Iberia Parish.

            (51) Repealed by Acts 2014, No. 218, §1.

            (52) The Dixie Overland Byway:

            U.S. 80 at its intersection with U.S. 167 south in Ruston, to the U.S. 80/I-20 interchange in eastern Madison Parish near Monroe, continuing east to the Louisiana-Mississippi state border on the Mississippi River.

            (53) Boom or Bust Byway:

            The byway corridor is primarily along LA 2 between the Louisiana/Texas line and Lisbon. A loop anchors the western end from LA 1 at its intersection with LA 173, thence along LA 173 to LA 3049 to Gilliam, thence from Gilliam to LA 2 on U.S. 71, thence along LA 2 to rejoin LA 1. An eastern loop is between Lisbon and Aycock on LA 518, between Aycock and Homer west on LA 146, plus a short link on LA 79 from Homer to LA 2.

            (54) Repealed by Acts 2014, No. 218, §2.

            (55) Tunica Trace Scenic Byways: LA 66 in West Feliciana Parish from intersection with LA 61 to the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola.

            (56) LA 191 from US 84 in DeSoto Parish south to the state line between Texas and Sabine Parish at the Toledo Bend Reservoir Dam.

            (57) Repealed by Acts 2016, No. 146, §2.

            (58) LA 70 from Interstate 10 in Ascension Parish to LA 44 in St. James Parish.

            (59) Louisiana Colonial Trails Scenic Byway:

            (a) LA 115 from its intersection at LA 28 East (Catahoula Lake Road) south to its intersection with LA 107.

            (b) LA 107 from its intersection with US 167 in Pineville south to Morrow.

            (c) LA 451.

            (d) LA 29 from its intersection with LA 115 at Bunkie to its intersection with LA 451.

            (e) LA 124 south from Harrisonburg to its intersection with US 84 at Jonesville.

            (f) LA 15 at Sicily Island south through Concordia Parish to Lettsworth; LA 8 from Harrisonburg to Sicily Island at its intersection with LA 15.

            (g) LA 8 at Jena, south and crossing Little River, with the historic and local name of Thompson Ferry Road, through Pollock to its intersection with LA 158 and LA 8 at Colfax.

            (h) LA 6 from the Texas border through Many and Natchitoches to its intersection with US 84 at Clarence.

            (i) LA 496 (Bayou Rapides Road) from MacArthur Drive to its intersection with LA 1200 (Hot Wells Road); north on LA 1200 to its intersection with LA 8 in Colfax.

            (j) LA 28 West from Alexandria, continuing on LA 8 (Nolan's Trace) west through Leesville and west on LA 8 to the Texas border.

            (k) US 84/65 from the Mississippi state line at Vidalia through Winnfield to its intersection with LA 6.

            (l) LA 124 from Harrisonburg to its intersection with LA 126 and LA 126 north into Caldwell Parish to existing Scenic Byway of LA 126 in Caldwell Parish.

            (60) Repealed by Acts 2016, No. 146, §2.

            (61) San Bernardo Scenic Byway: (a) LA 30 (old LA 46) from LA 39 (Judge Perez Drive) to LA 46 (Florissant LA).

            (62) Wetlands Cultural Trail (formerly known as the Lafourche/Terrebonne Scenic Byway):

            (a) LA 1 (Raceland) from a point located 1,120 feet north of Wilson Street, south to LA 655/LA 1 (Raceland, south through Lockport) - Total of 9.82 miles.

            (b) LA 1 from the Assumption-Lafourche Parish line to the intersection of LA 3090, including the routing through Thibodaux, Raceland, Lockport, Larose, Cut Off, Galliano, and Golden Meadow, and the elevated portion north of LA 3090.

            (c) LA 308 from the Assumption-Lafourche parish line to the intersection of LA 1 north of Golden Meadow, including the routing through Thibodaux, Raceland, Lockport, Larose, Cut Off, and Galliano.

            (d) LA 304 from its intersection with LA 308 to the intersection with LA 20.

            (e) LA 20 from its intersection with LA 304 to its intersection with LA 307, including its routing through Chackbay.

            (f) LA 307 from its intersection with LA 20 to its intersection with LA 182, including its routing through Kraemer.

            (g) LA 182 from its intersection with LA 307 to its intersection with LA 308.

            (h) LA 20 from its intersection with LA 1 to its intersection with LA 24.

            (i) LA 24 from its intersection with LA 20 south of Thibodaux to its intersection with LA 1 in Larose, including its routing through Houma and its East and West one-way pairs.

            (j) LA 56 from its intersection with LA 24 east of Houma to its terminus at Cocodrie, including its routing through Chauvin.

            (k) LA 57 from its intersection with LA 24 in Houma south to its intersection with LA 56, including its routing through Dulac.

            (l) LA 182 from its intersection with LA 24 in Houma to its intersection with LA 20 west of Gibson.

            (63) Cane River National Heritage Trail Scenic Byway:

            (a) LA 6 beginning at the Washington Front Street to the intersection of Pavie Street and one block south of the intersection of LA 1.

            (b) East on Church Street to Keyser Avenue LA 494.

            (c) West on Keyser Avenue to the intersection of LA 119.

            (d) LA 119/494 to the divergence of the roads at Oakland Plantation Bridge.

            (e) LA 119 until its intersection with LA 1.

            (f) East at LA 1 towards Derry and continues on LA 1 to its intersection with LA 490 where the road becomes LA1/490.

            (g) LA 1/490 to Gilbraith where LA 490 turns north.

            (h) LA 1 to Lena.

            (i) Beginning at the Allen Exit on I-49 North of Natchitoches traveling west and south along LA 485 to LA 6 and returning east to Natchitoches.

            (64) Southern Swamp Byway: The byway corridor runs northeast of Interstate 10, South of Interstate 12 and adjacent to Interstate 55 in Ascension, Livingston, Tangipahoa, and St. John the Baptist parishes of eastern Louisiana for a total of 67 miles. The byway is designated on LA 22 from its intersection with LA 70 at the Ascension Parish Visitor Center to the intersection of LA 22 with US 51-X in Ponchatoula and then south on US 51-X and continuing on US 51 to the Byway's intersection with I-10.

            (65) Flyway Byway: The byway corridor runs along Louisiana Highway 99 from its intersection with the west bound ramps of I-10 south to its intersection with Louisiana Highway 14, including its routing through Welsh; Illinois Plant Road from the Jefferson Davis-Cameron Parish line north to its intersection with Louisiana Highway 14; along Louisiana Highway 14 from its intersection with Illinois Plant Road east to the Jefferson Davis-Vermilion Parish line, including its routing through Lake Arthur; along Louisiana Highway 3056 from the Jefferson Davis-Cameron Parish line north to its intersection with Louisiana Highway 14; Louisiana Highway 26 from its intersection with Louisiana Highway 14 north to its intersection with North Frontage Road at the Oil and Gas Park north of I-10, including its routing through Lake Arthur and Jennings; and US Highway 90 from its intersection with Louisiana Highway 99 in Welsh east to its intersection with Louisiana Highway 26 in Jennings including its routing through Roanoke.

            (66) Cajun Corridor Byway: all portions in Vermilion and Iberia parishes, LA 14 from its intersection with LA 91 in Gueydan east in Vermilion Parish through Kaplan, Abbeville, Erath, and to its crossing of the Delcambre Canal on the east municipal boundary of Delcambre located in Iberia Parish.

            (67) Myths and Legends Byway:

            (a) US 165 from its intersection with US 190 in Kinder northeast to its intersection with LA 26 in Oberlin in Allen Parish.

            (b) LA 26 from its intersection with US 165 in Oberlin northwest to its intersection with US 171 in Allen and Beauregard parishes.

            (c) LA 113 from its intersection with LA 26 north to its intersection with LA 10 in Pitkin including its routing through Sugartown in Beauregard and Vernon parishes.

            (d) LA 10 from its intersection with US 165 in Oakdale west to its intersection with US 171 south of Pickering including its routing through Elizabeth, Pitkin, Cravens, and Sandy Hill in Allen and Vernon parishes.

            (e) LA 458 from its intersection with LA 10 in Pitkin northwest to its intersection with LA 399 in Fullerton in Vernon Parish.

            (f) LA 399 from its intersection with LA 10 northeast to its intersection with Fullerton Lake Road, the entrance to Fullerton Lake Campground and Picnic area, including its routing through Fullerton in Vernon Parish.

            (g) US 112 from its intersection with LA 113 in Sugartown west to its intersection with US 171 in Beauregard Parish.

            (h) US 171 from its intersection with LA 26 west and north to its intersection with LA 10 south of Pickering including its routing through Deridder and Rosepine in Beauregard and Vernon parishes.

            (i) US 190 from its intersection with US 171 in Deridder west to the Louisiana-Texas state border including its routing through Merryville in Beauregard Parish.

            (j) LA 111 from its intersection with US 190 north to its intersection with LA 8 in Beauregard and Vernon parishes.

            (k) LA 8 from its intersection with LA 111 west to the Louisiana-Texas state border in Vernon Parish.

            (68) Zydeco Cajun Prairie Scenic Byway:

            (a) US 90 from its intersection with LA 35 in Rayne west to its intersection with LA 13 in Crowley in Acadia Parish.

            (b) LA 35 from its intersection with US 90 in Rayne north to its intersection with LA 95 in Church Point in Acadia Parish.

            (c) LA 95 from its intersection with LA 35 southeast to its intersection with LA 178 in Church Point in Acadia Parish.

            (d) LA 178 from its intersection with LA 95 in Church Point east to its intersection with LA 182 in Acadia and St. Landry parishes.

            (e) LA 13 from its intersection with US 90 in Crowley north to its intersection with US 167 including its routing through Eunice, Pine Prairie, and Turkey Creek in Acadia, Evangeline, and St. Landry parishes.

            (f) LA 370 from its intersection with LA 35 west to its intersection with LA 13 in Acadia Parish.

            (g) US 190 from its intersection with LA 105 in Krotz Springs west to its intersection with LA 1157-2 in Basile, including its routing through Port Barre, Opelousas, and Eunice in St. Landry and Evangeline parishes.

            (h) LA 1157-2 from its intersection with US 190 north to its intersection with LA 1157-1 in Basile in Evangeline Parish.

            (i) LA 3277 from its intersection with US 190 north to its intersection with LA 1157-1 in Basile in Evangeline Parish.

            (j) LA 1157-1 from its intersection with LA 3277 west to its intersection with LA 1157-2 in Basile in Evangeline Parish.

            (k) LA 182 from its intersection with LA 93 in Sunset west and north to its intersection with LA 103 in Washington including its routing through Opelousas in St. Landry Parish.

            (l) LA 93 from its intersection with LA 31 in Arnaudville west to its intersection with LA 182 in Sunset including its routing through Grand Coteau in St. Martin and St. Landry parishes.

            (m) LA 31 from its intersection with LA 93 in Arnaudville north to its intersection with LA 103 in Leonville in St. Martin and St. Landry parishes.

            (n) LA 103 from its intersection with LA 31 in Leonville north to its intersection with LA 741 in Port Barre in St. Landry Parish.

            (o) LA 758 from its intersection with US 190 north to its intersection with LA 29 in St. Landry and Evangeline parishes.

            (p) LA 29 from its intersection with LA 758 northeast to its intersection with LA 1174 in Chataignier in Evangeline Parish.

            (q) LA 1174 from its intersection with LA 29 north and east to its intersection again with LA 29 all in Chataignier in Evangeline Parish.

            (r) LA 105 from its intersection with US 190 in Krotz Springs north to its intersection with LA 10 in Melville in St. Landry Parish.

            (s) LA 10 from its intersection with LA 105 in Melville west and south to its intersection with LA 10 in Washington including its routing through Palmetto in St. Landry Parish.

            (t) US 167 from its intersection with I-49 west and north to its intersection with LA 3042 in Ville Platte in St. Landry and Evangeline parishes.

            (u) LA 3042 from its intersection with US 167 in Ville Platte north to its intersection with LA 106 in Evangeline Parish.

            (v) LA 106 from its intersection with I-49 west to its intersection with US 167 in Avoyelles and Evangeline parishes.

            (w) US 167 from its intersection with LA 106 northwest and north to its intersection with I-49 including its routing through Turkey Creek in Rapides and Evangeline parishes.

            (x) LA 3187 from its intersection with LA 13 west and north to the entrance of Crooked Creek Recreation Area in Evangeline Parish.

            (69) Zachary Taylor Parkway - Louisiana's Military History Byway:

            (a) LA 10 from the Mississippi state line west through Washington, Tangipahoa, St. Helena, and East Feliciana Parishes.

            (b) LA 10 from the West Feliciana Parish line west to the intersection with LA 10 and LA 61.

            (c) LA 61 south to the intersection of LA 61 and LA 10 at the John James Audubon Bridge.

            (d) LA 10 west continuing over the John James Audubon Bridge into Pointe Coupee Parish to the intersection of LA 10 and LA 1.

            (e) LA 1 west through Avoyelles Parish to the intersection of LA 1 and Broadway Avenue in Rapides Parish.

            (f) South of Broadway Avenue to the intersection of Broadway and Interstate 49.
