§553. Applicability
This Part shall apply to licensed insurers as defined in R.S. 22:552, either domiciled
in this state or domiciled in a state that is not an accredited state having in effect a law
substantially similar to this Part. All provisions of the Insurance Holding Company System
Regulatory Law, R.S. 22:691.1 et seq., to the extent they are not superseded by this Part,
shall continue to apply to all parties within holding company systems subject to this Part.
