§561. Collection of inspection fees
A. The annual fees imposed by R.S. 30:560 shall be paid to the office
of conservation no later than January fifteenth of each year on forms to be
prescribed by the commissioner of conservation.
B. If any person fails to pay the fees imposed by R.S. 30:560, the
commissioner of conservation may proceed to enforce the collection thereof
by utilizing the remedies and procedures set forth in Chapter 1 of this Subtitle,
specifically including any authority to obtain and audit information and
authority to impose interest and penalties.
C. All money received or collected by the commissioner of
conservation under R.S. 30:560 and this Section shall be deposited
immediately upon receipt in the state treasury and shall be credited to the Oil
and Gas Regulatory Dedicated Fund Account.
