§353. Clerks; sheriff; superintendent of police
A. The courts of appeal shall appoint their respective clerks and deputies, who shall serve at the pleasure of the court.
B. The sheriff of the respective parishes in which the courts of appeal are domiciled, or one of his deputies, shall provide security for and attend each session of the court and when necessary, execute the orders of the court.
C. Repealed by Acts 2026, No. 276, §5, eff. May 22, 2026.
D. The clerk of each court of appeal shall be assisted by a chief deputy clerk and a reasonable number of deputy clerks as needed for the efficient operation of the court.
