Provide a summary of the project or program:
           Capital Outlay- While we have explored many avenues in getting our parking lot paved, it has not come to fruition are again requesting capital funding to replace the parking lot at our main office. Five years ago we were given a bid of $50,000 to pave the entire parking lot which we would like to do. The current lot is so dangerous that it has become a hazard to Seniors who come to our office to handle their business with the ICOA; they are often unsteady with walkers or canes and their eye sight is weakened making this a hazardous trek to the office door. If any funding is left after choosing the type of paving that would be donate at the office, further capital improvements would be done such as putting a stove at our Center Street Meal site to allow for some cooking there and to have another means of warming up food to be served besides ovens. The ICOA is serving over 150 meals a day for home-delivered meals. If there is funding left, then we would like to update the carpet at the main office as the carpet in the office is 18 years old.

What is the entity's public purpose, sought to be achieved through the use of state monies?
          Using these state monies will allow us to provide a safer environment for our seniors age 60 and over that come to the main office. During this COVID 19 pandemic, our services had to be restructured but we are close to being fully functional. At the current time, all of our Congregate Meals are being delivered and throughout the parish we are delivering over 260 meals on a daily basis. These numbers will increase on 11/2/2020

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          Our first goal and objective is to increase the safety for our clients and employees that are coming in to our office. The second objective is to increase the functionality of our largest meal site so a wider variety of activities can be done since the only cooking area we have are ovens and microwave; the stove would approve this area.
