          The St. George Firefighters Foundation has an established purpose of promoting training and educational opportunities regarding fire and life safety. Disaster assistance and mitigation effectiveness is directly connected to ongoing training programs that would target both emergency responders as well as private citizens in the form of a Citizens Response Team. The money would also be purposed for temporary shelter agreements as well as bus purchase to move people from affected area to said shelters.

          The goals of this program are to support and enhance natural disaster response, mitigation, and after event training and provide additional resources to accomplish said goal.
