Our Goals and objectives are to protect and preserve our culture and our heritage and our great Louisiana seafood industry. To get on a level playing field with seafood being imported into our country. Our commercial seafood harvesters are suffering with low prices that they cannot compete with due to cheap imports. Making the public aware of the great value to our fresh products by promoting local catch and letting them know the negative health and safety issues that imported seafood products have.

What is the proposed length of time estimated by the entity to accomplish the purpose?
Hopefully in the next 5 years we will have some of these goals accomplished. The exact legnth of time is unknown. We have in the past worked on these purooses, goals and objectives and today we are continuting these efforts and will in the future also.
