Provide a summary of the project or program:
           To provide funding to support the expenses of host committee for Super Bowl LIX, to be held Feb 9, 2025 at the Louisiana (Caesars) Superdome. In order to be awarded a Super Bowl, the NFL required significant financial and operational commitments in the 2018 bid for the 2025 event. The economic impact of the 2013 Super Bowl in New Orleans was over $450,000,000 and generated significant tax revenue for the State of Louisiana and the Greater New Orleans area. There were also over 5,200 credentialed media covering the week of the event, providing significant positive media coverage for the State and City.

What is the entity's public purpose, sought to be achieved through the use of state monies?
          The purpose of New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee, Inc. is to raise the funding necessary to pay for the expenses to fulfill the obligations in the 2018 bid for the 2025 Super Bowl, as well as operationally execute those obligations in a professional manner. It is a significant undertaking to host the largest sporting event in the United States that annually moves around the country.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          The goals are to create a host committee made up of volunteer business leaders in the state/community, create strategies for private and public fundraising; use the operational and strategic resources derived from hosting past Super Bowls and other major events; create a media/PR committee to put Louisiana in the most positive light in the media; recruit, train and clothe over 5,000 volunteers; create opportunities for local and regional businesses, including disadvantaged businesses; provide a professional business staff to service the NFL and the Host Committee; and to deliver the obligations in the bid in a way that the NFL and media will want to return as soon as possible.
