           KCA was founded in 2019 to provide a positive, educational experience for our students with special needs. We are the only school in our area whose mission is to make each classroom fully accommodating to the student's needs. We keep our classrooms small so we can make a big impact in each student's life. We strive to keep tuition affordable for our students while offering quality services to them. It is our belief that they deserve the highest level of education possible. Our students learn differently so we are always adding technology to the classroom to help them grasp the concepts easier. We also take them out into the community to acquire life skills in real life situations. They have learned to grocery shop, order from a restaurant, and learn appropriate behaviors in public. Every dollar given to KC Academy is invested directly into the lives of our students.

What is the entity's public purpose, sought to be achieved through the use of state monies?
          KC Academy exists to ensure all children in the Sulphur area have a chance to learn. We provide positive, nurturing education for children with special needs whose needs cannot be met in mainstream schools. Many of these children would otherwise have no chance to learn and grow at all, but are thriving and succeeding in a supportive environment. We strive to keep our tuition low but offer the highest quality of education. Our belief is that they deserve the best. We are always looking for ways to be able to provide them with the education that they deserve. With the proper provision we will be able to provide them with new technology, a life skill center, outdoor gardening area and more.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          At KC Academy our goal is for each student to reach their highest potential. It is our belief that every child can learn, we just have to meet them where they are and help them to succeed. Our goal is for every student to be able to read, learn to do math and learn to be successful in life.
