What is the entity's public purpose, sought to be achieved through the use of state monies?
          The Diocese of Lake Charles embraces fully the mission of the Roman Catholic Church to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Church in Southwest Louisiana. The use of state monies will allow for the continued repairs and renovation to damaged facilities that are an integral part the Diocese's efforts to achieve these goals.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          State monies received will be deployed for use at Diocesan properties to pay the 10% cost share mandated by FEMA. The Diocese is currently in the midst of putting various projects out to bid - at the Diocesan level, at the individual parish level, and at the school level. Funds received will be used as projects are approved for progression, with a particular emphasis on Diocesan level projects.
