Provide a summary of the project or program:
           Math Nation is honored to provide a proposal to continue to be part of the solution for middle and high school math achievement in Louisiana. Math Nation-Louisiana includes Louisiana Standards-aligned, vetted, and research-proven supplemental resources. Students, families, and educators across the state will have access to videos created with patented technology for all math concepts students need. Each video is recorded by multiple "Study Experts" for students to choose from based on their individual learning needs. Videos are accompanied with standards-aligned study guides and consumable workbooks (2-volume per course, full color). Personalized, online remediation tools, print and digital practice assessments, and PSAT, SAT, ACT Prep resources will also be available. With Math Nation's patented technology, students will have the ability to send their questions to the Student Tutoring Walls, secure, monitored statewide collaboration and tutoring forums where students can receive help in real-time from their peers and teachers at night and on the weekends. Math Nation will provide dedicated staff to support the implementation and ongoing support of the program. The Math Nation application is available on the web and on native iOS and Android devices which provides a method for offline viewing of the videos. The tool will integrate with each individual school district's single sign-on system and rostering capabilities.

          Math Nation has been proven to increase statewide test scores for middle school and high school math students (see MathNation.com/Data for more information). In addition, Math Nation will increase student engagement and excitement surrounding math, will tangibly improve proficiency in math, and will emphasize the importance of math in the real world by showcasing companies in the resources. Math Nation’s Louisiana Standards-aligned middle school and high school supplemental math resources and online tutoring platform will be available to all middle and high school students, educators, and families in Michigan. The flexible platform is user-friendly and can be used both in and outside of the classroom. Differentiation is built in for students through the ability to choose their Study Expert, engage with Math Nation’s personalized remediation tools, and post any math questions they have on the Study Tutoring Walls. Math Nation builds students’ confidence and enthusiasm about math awards prizes to showcase student achievement. Parents appreciate their students’ enthusiasm to learn and participate and their own access to content and online tutoring from Math Nation while assisting learning at home.
