        What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
                  1. Stuffed Shrimp Festival (Shreveport)
Goal: To host, organize, and promote a signature community festival that celebrates Shreveport-style stuffed shrimp, fosters local culture, attracts tourism, supports the local economy, and builds community pride.
Objectives:
	•	Organize an annual festival in a public venue (such as the State Fairgrounds) with vendors, live music, cooking demonstrations, children’s activities, arts and crafts, etc. (as has been done before)  
	•	Promote the festival through regional media, social media, tourism bureaus, food bloggers, etc., to increase awareness among local residents and visitors.
	•	Engage local restaurants, food vendors, artisans, and performers to participate, to give visibility and business to local talent.
	•	Measure success by metrics such as attendance, vendor satisfaction, media reach, economic impact locally (lodging, restaurants, etc.)
2. Scholarships
Goal: To help local high school seniors pursue further education or careers (particularly in fields such as culinary arts or other trades, though not necessarily limited to those).
Objectives:
	•	Identify eligible high school students (criteria might include academic merit, financial need, community service, or interest in culinary or food-culture fields).
	•	Award scholarships provide funding to help with tuition, books, or other educational expenses.
	•	Provide mentoring, or support services.
	
3. Stuffed Shrimp Museum
Goal: To preserve Louisiana’s regional food heritage (especially the history and tradition of Shreveport-style stuffed shrimp), educate the public, and create a tangible cultural attraction for both residents and tourists.
Objectives:
	•	The origin, evolution, and cultural significance of “stuffed shrimp” (how the recipe developed, key figures like Eddie Hughes, Freeman & Harris Café, etc.).  
	•	artifacts, photographs, interviews, recipes, cooking tools, oral histories to tell a rich story.
	•	Maintain a physical space accessible to the public (regular hours), tours or educational programs.
	•	interactive or multimedia components (demonstrations, video, classes)
