           Summary - The Capital Outlay Funds requested will be used to continue preservation efforts of the original 118-year-old McKinley High School Building, now a Museum, Office Building, Community Center, Conference Room, Class Room, Health Center and Alumni Headquarters. Upgrade projects include upgrading broken utility, environmental and communications, systems/assets, replacing health related, civic and public service equipment and machinery so as to be a support hub for impactful community local, city, regional, state and national educational, charitable and religious services. Priority for use of the requested funds follows: 1. To initiate and complete mechanical upgrades and renovations of aged environmental and electrical systems. 2. To replace crumbling internal and external infrastructure. 3. To repair, replace and modernized lighting and security systems. 4. To protect and preserve thousands of historical artifacts and materials located in the Old McKinley High Museum. 5. To sustain existing community civic and educational programs and to serve as a viable cost effective community support hub for impactful educational, health related and services. Specifically, to work towards preservation of Old McKinley, to maintain operational assets, fund annual maintenance & repairs; Continue to use the Old Mckinley Center as a local, state, regional and national civic center; to train and provide work experiences for community residents and businesses; To plan, schedule and support educational and community charitable services and resources; and encourage diverse scientific events, activities, and programs; We desperately need at least $300,000 immediately to fund the repairs as listed above.
