          The principal purpose of BEREAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, INC. is to create, plan and implement comprehensive intervention and prevention community programs. These programs work together to strengthen and uplift the Tangipahoa Parish community by providing essential resources, support, and opportunities for all.

What are the goals and objectives for achieving such purpose?
          Goal 1:
SENIOR CITIZEN HEALTH AND WELLNESS EXPO
Objective 1: Identify community stakeholders to educate senior citizens via information to improve the seniors' health.
Objective 2: Host the Expo as a daylong experience for seniors featuring line dancing, health meals, and guest speakers.

Goal 2: Summer Youth Experience
Objective 1: Plan a month long experience for youth to consume idle out of school time with interactive recreation and cultural experiences.
Objective 2: Weekend community movie nights where the community will be invited to enjoy free movies on a huge, inflatable screen together.

Goal 3: Sunday Feeding community program
Objective 1: Every Sunday the Berean CDC community will be invited to come and pick up a complimentary meal.

Goal 4: Environmental flower planting
Objective 1: Educate the community about the need for environmental conservation and protection by planting donated flower seeds around the community.

Goal 5: Berean Community Hero Wall of Fame
Objective 1: Identify community heroes who are positively impacting the Berean community. The heroes' pictures and bios will be featured on the Berean CDC social media portals.
Objective 2: Work with our State Rep. to have proclamations presented to the Community heroes

Goal 6: Community Career Fair
Objective: Invite potential employers to set up tables to attract employees. Guest speaker will educate about resumes, professional attire. Photographer will be on hand to produce professional headshots.
